How long does one fill last?
About 10 hours, per the maker's specs: the tank holds 300 ml and it mists about 30 ml an hour.
What does the mist look like?
A soft, thin wisp from the chimney, lit in the color you pick, like a little steam engine. The video at the top of the page is real footage of the unit we ship. It looks best in a dim room. It's an aroma diffuser, not a fog machine or a room humidifier.
What do the lights and the remote do?
The cab windows, the three lamps along the boiler and the chimney glow in 7 colors. Use the remote that comes with it to turn on the mist and the lights and pick a color.
What does it run on?
A USB-C cable, which comes with it. Plug it into any USB charger, a laptop or another USB port. There's no battery and no wall plug in the box, so it stays plugged in while it runs.
Are essential oils included?
No. Add a few drops of any essential oil you like to the water.
Is it quiet? Does it turn off on its own?
The maker doesn't state a noise level or an automatic shut-off for this model, so we don't promise either. If either matters to you, email us before you order.
How do I fill and clean it?
Water and a few drops of oil go in the 300 ml tank inside the train. The maker's video and photos don't show the fill or cleaning steps for this model, so we won't guess here. Email us and we'll send them once the maker confirms them.
How long does shipping take?
It ships from our partner warehouse within 3 business days, and most orders arrive 9 to 17 days after you order, free and tracked. We ship to US addresses except Indiana and military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses for now.
What if it arrives damaged, doesn't work, or gets lost?
Email a photo to support@embertonhome.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund or replace it, with nothing to send back. Lost in the mail? We'll send a new one or refund you (see our Refund policy).
